Well, you obviously read it so I'm at least talking to somebody. :-)

Bravo! You do realize that your questions, a few hundred years ago would have led to your "persecution". Each of us has a perspective based on where we live, our ancestry, and our interpersonal relationship history, and each perspective has it's own "truth" I think it's up to each of us to find the "seed of truth" that is held within all religions, and find the seed that resonates with our own individual soul. My motto has always been "God is too big to fit into one religion."

Patti, I completely agree, it is definitely an individual decision, and so long as one seeks out that truth, remains humble (non-religion-specific bias), you are likely to find the faith that is perfect for you. We can all learn from each other - no sense bashing each other! I have chosen my religion because it encourages that at its roots. I wonder how many other religions out there (maybe Hindu and Bhuddism) encourage this?
