This is why everyone should get a contact ringto number from www.ringtonumber.com. It would protect your privacy and still get phone calls when it is convenient. If it gets breached, it's much easier to change your ringto number than your home phone.
kato, if I understand correctly, ringtonumber just forwards calls to your home phone. My problem still exists - Comcast is my home phone, therefore Comcast will still be selling my destination number to others and I will still be getting calls from them, ringtonumber or not. Nice advertisement for ringtonumber though kato - see my entries on GrandCentral if you like ringtonumber.
